Reinforced rear suspension control arm system for Corvette C2/C3 (1963–1979). The complete rear suspension upgrade kit includes offset control arms, crossmembers, coil-over mounts and adjustable Ridetech C2/C3 suspension. The rear suspension system uses offset, truss-style control arms, allowing maximum tire width and improved traction while providing very high strength and stability.
Technical features and benefits
The control arms are equipped with Teflon bushings and the links use R-Joint rod ends. This advanced joint design combines low friction, high lateral stability, full range of motion and quiet operation. The result is a rear suspension that performs excellently for street driving, track use and other performance-oriented driving.
Together with the tubular rear crossmember, the shocks (coil-overs) are positioned behind the rear axle. This provides an improved motion ratio for the suspension and more effective damping control. The movable lower mounts allow adjustment of the vehicle's ride height and optimization of chassis geometry.
Adjustable height and easy installation
The system offers adjustable ground clearance/ride height and can lower the car by approximately 1–3 inches. The kit includes mounting hardware that ensures proper clearance to the tires and ground, maintained driveline angles and unchanged load capacity. The design is developed for easy installation and requires neither fabrication nor welding.
The result is significantly improved handling, increased ride comfort and a modernized rear suspension solution for Corvette 63–79. Intended for use with Ridetech coil-overs (sold separately).
