SRP ventilated cast iron rotor with a drilled and slotted friction surface, engineered as an OE-style rear disc for Chevrolet Corvette C2/C3. The black e-coat provides durable corrosion protection on all areas outside the pad track, making it suitable for both daily street driving and more demanding, performance-oriented use.
This SRP brake rotor combines classic Corvette aesthetics with modern braking technology. The directional drilled and slotted pattern effectively evacuates gases, dust and pad residue, promoting a more consistent pedal feel, stronger initial bite and stable friction characteristics over time. The rotor is precision-machined from gray cast iron for high strength and repeatable performance, and finished with a black e-coat to protect all surfaces outside the pad contact area. It is a proven upgrade for street cars, show vehicles and high-performance builds where appearance, brake feel and reliability are key requirements.
- SRP drilled and slotted friction surface that cleans the pads, minimizes gas build-up and delivers a more consistent bite
- Ventilated construction for efficient heat dissipation and reduced fade during demanding driving
- Precision machined (flatness/parallelism/runout < 0.001") for a stable, predictable and vibration-free pedal
- Black electro-coat for long-lasting corrosion protection outside the pad track and a discreet, clean appearance
- OE-style rear disc for Corvette C2/C3 (1965–1982), ideal for upgrading original brake systems
- Bolt pattern 5 x 4.75" and left-hand rotor configuration for correct installation
- Developed for custom builds, show cars, restomods and high-performance applications

Installation and usage guidelines
- Install on the left side of the vehicle and observe the specified direction of rotation for the drilling and slots to ensure optimal braking performance.
- Degrease all contact surfaces prior to installation; the e-coat on the pad track will wear off in a controlled manner during the bedding process.
- Use new pads and perform a proper bedding procedure to achieve even pad transfer and maximum friction.
- Verify adequate clearance to caliper, hat and wheel; confirm offset, hub centering and wheel bolt circle before driving.
- Tighten wheel nuts in a criss-cross pattern and recheck torque after the initial driving period.
- Select brake pads appropriate for the intended use (street/sport/track day) and compatible with the rotor's drilled and slotted design.
For classic Corvette projects that require enhanced braking performance while maintaining a period-correct appearance, this SRP rotor provides a well-balanced pedal feel, improved cooling and consistent braking performance.
