Cleaning the fiberglass on the underside of a Corvette C3

Then the work continues with removing the under body paint on the underside of the Corvette. It's a pretty dirty job but it works well with brake cleaner which dissolves the paint well. It takes quite a lot of paper as it absorbs quite well. When everything is gone I put on a layer of wax to give a smoother surface that dirt doesn't stick to. There will also be some new paint on the beams so it will be clean and tidy there too. There will also be a little paint on the metal parts so the surface rust has been stopped up. You can always replace it with new but that's a premium since the goal is to renovate and preserve.
